The soybeans used in this Sealy crib mattress are grown in the USA and are a natural and renewable resource, and the foam is enhanced with soybean oils, thereby using less crude oil.  Soy based foam reduces sagging and is stronger and more durable than conventional foams.  It is also hypoallergenic and the foam used in the Sealy soybean foam-core crib mattress is CertiPUR-US Certified.    CertiPur is a program developed by the global foam industry that certifies products that “meet specific criteria for physical performance, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship”.

The mattress is phthalate compliant and has also been tested for formaldehyde, PBDEs, lead and other chemicals.
